Discoveries
So far at work I’ve discovered….
- That even the brightly colored walls can’t brighten up that bland office space
- They have zero supplies, I mean, zero
- There is literally no where to eat in Itasca
- Instead of hoarding jewelry like my last job, I will now have a surplus amount of pens imprinted with various logos on them i.e. Motorola, Allstate, Schneider, among various other brands I don’t give a shit about nor do I want 10,000 pens
- Smokers still suck
- Smoke still clings to one’s body after he/she enters the building
- Puffy coats with fur trim are out.. when you were in 7th grade
- Wearing make up to work is essential, no one is that pretty
- There is one, only one, attractive & young & tall male in our office, I creeped, he went to ISU and his name is Matt, 4 years older than me
- I’m the youngest person there, but don’t act like it
- The cafeteria sucks
- There is only one bathroom convenient to go to on my side of the building…so sorry ladies if I have to shit one afternoon
- The IT guy loves the new girls
Happy Friday tomorrow.. I will celebrate by drinking all weekend, attending a bridal shower (snooze), and shopping all day in Chicago Saturday. WOOOOOO bring it.
