How come everything we think we need always comes...
I enjoy going to work.
I don’t mind the commute.
I have a comfortable amount of money where I am able to travel or splurge if I wanted to.
I live in a spacious room with 3 closets.
I go out with friends on the weekends.
I get to enjoy my weekly tv shows on a big flat screen tv.
Sounds like a cushy life, right?
So why do I feel like there is this big gaping hole missing?

Being in a smoke-free home, having non-smoker friends, and going to smoke-free establishments has been such a blessing.
So I want to ask you God, why on earth did you pair me up with a heavy smoker that sits in the same working space as I do for 9 hours a day? To punish me?

c'mon get down with the sickness
Day 4 - Entire morning of poppin more vitamin c pills + emergen-c + 3 more pints of water + 2 cups of tea + DayQuil + Cough drops + Zertec D + vitamin b + 1 box of kleenex + hot steamy 25 min shower = semi- improvement
My eyes are still puffy/red/watery & my nose is still runny but I can at least somewhat breathe.
I will attempt to have fun tonight, damnit.
Day 3 of this wretched cold & there are no signs of improvement.
What else can I do? I drank 4 pints (at least) of water, some with emergen-c (pink lemonade flavored, still tastes shitty), Gatorade, zero pop (which is super hard for my caffeine-addicted ways), hot tea…
I’m poppin Vitamin C pills like they’re candy.
Soup is the only thing I eat pretty much.

I’ll admit it, sometimes on Facebook, I can be annoying. I think everyone wants to hear about my awesome day or my awesome shoes or my awesome life.. when really, they probably don’t give a rats ass.
So I’m just gonna give you the benefit of the doubt that this epiphany hasn’t hit you yet and that you still genuinely think that people care about what you say via Facebook...
